With the 4th popping up in the middle of my insanity experience, I kind of missed a couple days. I did not do anything on Sat, Sun, or Monday. By anything I mean insanity videos because on Monday I dug a 50 foot trench, buried a pipe and finish my yard work. Should be card yard Insanity or Yard Work X.
Friday's video was a relief. It was Cardio recovery. It was perfect timing from my 3 hour tennis the day before. I was exciting to hear Shawn say, this is going to be lots of stretching but still a work out. What he did not say is lots of burning muscles. My legs were on fire. It was an Insane recovery routine but good.
Tuesday was PURE CARDIO. 10 minute warm up, 10 minute stretch and 20 minutes of straight exercises. Each exercise is 1 minute and you never stop unless you need water or burned out. I had to stop multiple times to get my breath.
Wednesday was back to Cardio Plyo. I forgot how much I hated the level one exercises in this video. My arms and back are not strong and fit enough to make it through this routine.
I have weighed in at 214 and 216 over the last couple days. I hope to be down to 212ish by Saturday. If I have time, I think I am going to take a long bike ride Saturday instead of Insanity or maybe both.
