MaxiVista is awesome for adding a 3rd monitor or kvm solution

After working at home a few weeks, I wanted to find a better set up for my home office. I have my work laptop and my home desktop. I have two monitors on my home desktop. A cheap 22 inch wide screen and a 21 inch regular. My work laptop is a 19 inch wide screen. It is also a lot more powerful than my home computer. I considered just using it for everything but that would mean I would waste my other monitor since I assumed a laptop can only have one additional monitor.
So I asked Google about a third monitor for a laptop. I found this article which lead me to MaxiVista.

I believe their demos are either using gigabit network cards or are just directly networked because I do have a little lag using the laptop as the secondary pc monitor. It is not bad at all. I also love the kvm feature. You can switch between the extended monitor and using the one mouse and keyboard just by clicking the scroll button. I am really excited about working today.

It is 50 dollars for the software but I think it is going to be worth it. You can demo it for a couple weeks. I will let you know if I decide not to buy for some reason.
